KingFisher Clouser
A weighted version of my OG KingFisher, the KingFisher Clouser is 6 inches long, with minimal flash and weighted with XL nickel eyes. The smaller size, less materials and weighted head give this fly a smaller profile but gives depth and/or more of a jig action when fishing in swifter currents or deeper lagoons. The KingFisher Clouser is ultimately more focused on Golden Dorado but still very effective for Peacock Bass or any number of jungle species.
Tied with a #3/0 Kona XXS hook. At 6 inches long, the tail is easily trimmed if you want to shorten 1-2 inches. My version of an Andino Deceiver.
